Vans

Things just keep getting better for Citroen as they, along with the Trafficmaster system, were recently awarded a green fleet award. Their achievements were recognised due to the fact that they have both made efforts to be more environmental friendly and assist in business operations. Citroen were awarded the light commercial vehicles manufacturer of the year for its Airdream programme. This programme offers duel fuel used vans, which include advanced technology in the form of the fleet driver system.

Follow up:

By using this system, it is being reported that it has reduced the fuel consumptions by around 12 percent. It is also meant to have cut the distance travelled on journeys by up to 16 percent. Whilst there seems to be many different types of awards these days – I think that given the government incentives that have been around over the last few years in terms of helping the environment – van manufacturers like Citroen should be given such accolades as a way of them being shown as one of the active believers in such environmentally saving aspects.
