Jaguar XJ

The Jaguar XJ is a luxury saloon sold under the British Jaguar luxury marque. The XJ was launched in 1968 and has served as the Jaguar flagship model for most of its production span which continues through to today. The original model was the last Jaguar saloon to have had the input of Sir William Lyons, the company’s founder. The used Jaguar XJ6, using 2.8 L (2790 cc/170 in³) and 4.2 L (4235 cc/258 in³) straight-six cylinder versions of Jaguar’s renowned XK engine, replaced most of Jaguar’s saloons – which, in the 1960s, had expanded to four separate ranges.

Ferrari Testarossa

The Ferrari Testarossa (not to be confused with the Ferrari TR “Testa Rossa” of the late 50’s and early 60’s) is one of the most common Ferrari models despite its high price and exotic design. It was in production 1984-1996 and has since then been succeeded by the Ferrari 550 Maranello. For many, the Ferrari Testarossa is synonymous with the 1980’s yuppie culture and nowadays plays a big part of the 80’s retro culture. The car has made appearances in plenty of video games as well as in the TV series Miami Vice as Sonny Crockett’s car. The used Ferrari Testarossa is a big car, one of the biggest Ferraris there are. Acceleration and performance are phenomenal and the car has a very strong grip on the road.

Things just keep getting better for Citroen as they, along with the Trafficmaster system, were recently awarded a green fleet award. Their achievements were recognised due to the fact that they have both made efforts to be more environmental friendly and assist in business operations. Citroen were awarded the light commercial vehicles manufacturer of the year for its Airdream programme. This programme offers duel fuel used vans, which include advanced technology in the form of the fleet driver system.

Here we go again! But are we any closer to agreeing on what is the best fuel type for our precious used vans? Ok let’s look at the facts; diesel fuelled van engines use less fuel than petrol van engines. Therefore, this will save money....... in the long run and especially if you travel many short journeys. On the other hand then – travelling longer journeys enhances the claim that petrol is more of an asset.
