Ferrari Testarossa
The Ferrari Testarossa (not to be confused with the Ferrari TR “Testa Rossa” of the late 50’s and early 60’s) is one of the most common Ferrari models despite its high price and exotic design. It was in production 1984-1996 and has since then been succeeded by the Ferrari 550 Maranello. For many, the Ferrari Testarossa is synonymous with the 1980’s yuppie culture and nowadays plays a big part of the 80’s retro culture. The car has made appearances in plenty of video games as well as in the TV series Miami Vice as Sonny Crockett’s car. The used Ferrari Testarossa is a big car, one of the biggest Ferraris there are. Acceleration and performance are phenomenal and the car has a very strong grip on the road.
Follow up:
It makes for enjoyable driving at low speeds as well, even though the handling suffers a little due to the lack of power steering. The noise level inside while driving is very high, some like it others may not, but ultimately it makes a radio rather unusable. Also the lack of luggage space is a factor to consider before buying a used Ferrari Testarossa. Still, this is a flamboyant car that is at its best for pure enjoyment, an excellent weekend car that is all about style, flair and luxury.
